Private Fittings — FAQ

Are private fittings free?

Yes. They are entirely free, with no obligation to purchase.

Where do fittings take place?

In a private appointment-only space in Longueuil, on Montréal’s South Shore. The full address is provided individually after validation.

How long does an appointment last?

Up to two hours.

How do I prepare my selection?

Sign in to your PrettyInsideOut account and use “Add to my fitting selection” on product pages. This selection is separate from your wishlist and shopping cart and may contain up to eight pieces.

Do I need to choose a size?

Yes. Check the desired size for every piece, along with its measurements and our size guide.

Can I book without a selection?

A booking without a complete selection is pending review. We will email you for the missing information. If it is not received at least 48 hours before your appointment, PrettyInsideOut may manually cancel the booking and notify you by email.

Are the pieces reserved for me?

No. A fitting selection does not hold inventory.

Is this a walk-in store?

No. Every appointment is prepared in advance from your selected pieces.

Do I have to buy anything?

Not at all. You are free to try the pieces and decide at your own pace.

Can I change my selection or appointment?

Yes. Email info@prettyinsideout.ca as soon as possible.

Our founder

PrettyInsideOut was born from Émanuelle Robitaille's journey.

Early on, she understood one thing: clothing is not just an accessory.

It's a way of holding oneself, seeing oneself, existing.

Navigating the world from her wheelchair, she developed a unique perspective—more attentive, more precise.

For her, clothing first became a space for expression, self-discovery, and acceptance.

Over time—and despite the limitations her body imposed on her creativity—this connection broadened, turning towards the women around her.

Clothing then became a link, a language, a presence.

This sensitivity then permeated her work as a therapist, where she helped hundreds of people connect with themselves.

Then, in the public eye, she continued to explore how others see us and the place we choose to occupy.

PrettyInsideOut is where everything comes together—a way of uniting perspective, experience, and intuition, in a more conscious approach to clothing, serving the woman who wears it.

The idea behind PIO

Humanity, elegance, and ethics, all in one place.

PrettyInsideOut is a reconciliation: that of women, clothing, and the planet.

Clothing can be loved as art.
Worn as an expression.
Chosen with consciousness.

Nothing more is produced.

We select existing pieces — from unsold high-end and designer items — that simply find their place elsewhere.

Quantities are limited.
Not by choice, but because these pieces already are.

Each garment is chosen for what it is, and for what it enables.

A calmer approach.
More precise.
More human.

Far from continuous production and unattached consumption.

Here, we choose differently.

Here, clothing regains its rightful place.

Not as an object.
As an expression.
As a presence.

More than a store, a space where one finds oneself — in style, and in pleasure.

Our promise

Getting dressed has never required compromise. Not with yourself.
Not with what you choose to wear.
Not with what you choose to invest.

Pieces chosen to last
New, authentic, selected for their quality and their ability to stand the test of time.

Another way to access clothing
Because they already exist, they can simply be chosen differently - and rediscovered at their true value.

An aligned decision
Wearing a PIO piece means recognizing its value — and making it your own.

Authenticity and Uniqueness

Each piece in our selection is hand-picked by our founder according to precise criteria of quality, authenticity, and uniqueness.

The selection is built over time, with an emphasis on quality rather than quantity.

Sizes and quantities remain limited.

Some pieces are only available as a single item and are not restocked.

This is what allows each piece to maintain its place—and its distinctiveness.

SUSTAINABILITY

Choosing what already exists, rather than producing more.

The pieces we offer are part of this logic — they circulate, change hands, and continue to exist differently.

They find their place in a wardrobe designed for the long term, where pieces are collected.

It's obvious: elegance is about timelessness and consistency.
