About
THE STORY BEHIND PRETTYINSIDEOUT
The PrettyInsideOut adventure was born from the personal journey of Émanuelle Robitaille, Stylist and Founder.
Growing up with a body socially considered imperfect due to a cancerous tumor in her spinal cord, she quickly had to face challenges of self-esteem, self-image, and self-expression.
With an innate passion for fashion, Émanuelle undertook 12 years of studies in psychology and counseling to understand the human psyche and help others on their journey toward self-acceptance and self-love. In 2013, she embraced her role as a singer, radio and television presenter, becoming a confident and comfortable public figure.
The creation of PrettyInsideOut is the result of a profound inner reckoning in Émanuelle's life. Combining her love for fashion, the planet, and humanity, she founded an online boutique for secondhand women's clothing. PrettyInsideOut encourages individual expression without judgment, creating a space where everyone is seen and welcomed with compassionate transparency.

Our founder
PrettyInsideOut was born from Émanuelle Robitaille's journey.
Early on, she understood one thing: clothing is not just an accessory.
It's a way of holding oneself, seeing oneself, existing.
Navigating the world from her wheelchair, she developed a unique perspective—more attentive, more precise.
For her, clothing first became a space for expression, self-discovery, and acceptance.
Over time—and despite the limitations her body imposed on her creativity—this connection broadened, turning towards the women around her.
Clothing then became a link, a language, a presence.
This sensitivity then permeated her work as a therapist, where she helped hundreds of people connect with themselves.
Then, in the public eye, she continued to explore how others see us and the place we choose to occupy.
PrettyInsideOut is where everything comes together—a way of uniting perspective, experience, and intuition, in a more conscious approach to clothing, serving the woman who wears it.
Our promise
Getting dressed has never required compromise. Not with yourself.
Not with what you choose to wear.
Not with what you choose to invest.
Pieces chosen to last
New, authentic, selected for their quality and their ability to stand the test of time.
Another way to access clothing
Because they already exist, they can simply be chosen differently - and rediscovered at their true value.
An aligned decision
Wearing a PIO piece means recognizing its value — and making it your own.
Authenticity and Uniqueness
Each piece in our selection is hand-picked by our founder according to precise criteria of quality, authenticity, and uniqueness.
The selection is built over time, with an emphasis on quality rather than quantity.
Sizes and quantities remain limited.
Some pieces are only available as a single item and are not restocked.
This is what allows each piece to maintain its place—and its distinctiveness.
SUSTAINABILITY
Choosing what already exists, rather than producing more.
The pieces we offer are part of this logic — they circulate, change hands, and continue to exist differently.
They find their place in a wardrobe designed for the long term, where pieces are collected.
It's obvious: elegance is about timelessness and consistency.
What's new
They are rare, and they are here.
Each piece has its own story. Discover this week's selection, chosen one by one with care, for a style that lasts.
