Where do the clothes come from?
PrettyInsideOut Inc. is committed to not participating in any new textile production. The selection, ranging from second-hand to brand new with tags, is the result of meticulous sorting and shopping by our founder to find the best deals at the best prices, all within the unique aesthetic of PrettyInsideOut — a collection that is high-quality, varied, original, and trendy.
Emanuelle Robitaille has a passion for both American and European fashion and seeks to broaden everyone's horizons by fostering a deeper understanding of the fashion world for more conscious shopping!
So, PrettyInsideOut brings you the best of second-hand clothing, carefully curated — it’s also everything the world of fashion has to offer, always at a discounted price — a well-matched sales and styling service!
What is the condition of the clothes?
The quality of the clothes at PrettyInsideOut is one of our greatest prides!
All items come from sources that do not contribute to or encourage the production of new textiles. The condition of the clothing ranges from "new with tags" to "very good condition with minor signs of use."
We can also repair and restore selected clothing items. Any remaining defects are clearly indicated in the "CONDITION" section of each garment.
Where do the "New with tags" items come from?
PrettyInsideOut does not work with any official suppliers and does not participate in any new textile production. Any "new with tags" item has been found in this condition, respecting these principles.
Why does the retail price listed in the description differ from the one on the tag of the item I received?
The MSRP (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price) is often listed in USD. If this is the case, the amount will be converted to CAD to ensure consistency in the site's currency for clear and easy shopping.
Are the clothes washed before my purchase?
To preserve the quality of the clothing, items are not systematically washed before being sold. Some may have been washed at our discretion.
How often are new arrivals?
At PrettyInsideOut, new arrivals are added every day at 6:00 AM. Be sure to check them out!
What should I do if there is an error in my order?
All sales are final — to encourage informed decision-making and responsible shopping, it is important to make thoughtful purchases.
However, if you received the wrong size, wrong item, or a damaged item beyond what was described and photographed, which affects the item’s aesthetics or functionality, please contact us immediately via the messaging bubble on the homepage of the website! We will be happy to find a solution with you for your complete satisfaction!

Can I pick up my package to avoid shipping fees?
This service is currently under development but is not yet available. If you haven’t already, please subscribe to our membership space to be notified when the pickup service is launched.
What is your environmental footprint?
We are still working on improving our ecological brand regarding the shipping of orders. However, our internal operations are based on unique numbers and numbered hangers that are reused each time an item is sold to minimize the use of non-recyclable materials and new materials.
PrettyInsideOut is proud to have not purchased any plastic for its internal operations since the summer of 2023.
Why can't I purchase using interest-free installment plans on the site?
One of PrettyInsideOut's core values is intelligent and conscious consumption.
The company’s decision to encourage purchases that are financially accessible here and now ensures a positive, satisfying, and responsible experience, helping to participate in "guilty pleasures" in a more sustainable way, rather than indulging in "guilty pleasures"!
GLOSSARY
What does "NEW WITH TAGS" mean?
The item still has its original tag. The tag may or may not have the original price listed. The tag might only feature the brand name, or it may show signs of handling.
An item described as "NEW WITH TAGS" without further specifications is in its brand-new condition.
An item that is new with tags but has defects or alterations will be described accordingly.
What does "NEW WITHOUT TAGS" mean?
This refers to an item that shows no signs of having been worn — the textile is in its original condition. It may also include extra button bags still attached to the care tag or a drawstring, etc.
What does "Excellent condition or like new" mean?
This refers to a second-hand item (without the "NEW with or without tags" label) that shows no signs of having been worn. Compared to the "New without tags" mention, we cannot be completely sure, and we avoid implying a condition that hasn’t been verified, for the sake of transparency.
An item in excellent condition may not look brand new but may appear to have been worn once or twice with no visible signs of wear.
What does "Very good condition" mean?
This refers to an item that may show signs of having been worn but remains of very high quality.
Any defects or additional information are added to the description.
What does "Estimated retail price" mean?
The retail price is always transparently listed in the item description. If the exact model is not currently available and the original price cannot be confirmed, the estimated retail price is based on the price of a similar model from the same brand, taking into account the material composition, which should also be comparable.
